Why does this even matter?
To start with we seriously need to prepare for the future of work. The jobs, roles, skills and experiences needed in the near and longer term horizon are rapidly changing. With a base level of digital literacy required for entry level jobs (eg: drivers, storeroom people, retail, factor workers) and more complex technical skills required for many other roles, girls and women will find themselves shut out of so many options if they don’t embrace technical skills within their lifelong training plans.
